Educational programmes

The Foundation has a proud history of supporting educational programmes that provide enrichment opportunities for children and young people in schools across the City. Our ongoing Awards and Prizes scheme, which started in 1978, currently benefits 31 secondary schools in Bristol and is designed to celebrate success.

Outdoor play spaces

We have provided capital grants to 19 primary schools in Bristol to improve their outdoor play spaces or equipment.

We are supporting NSPCC Schools Service in Bristol so that they can deliver the
'Speak out Stay Safe'
programme to 63 primary schools across the City. Speak out Stay Safe teaches children to recognise signs of abuse and empowering them to find their voice.

As well as being the official Schools Sponsor for this years Gromit Unleashed 3 trail, we have given Norbot sculptures to 10 schools in disadvantaged areas of Bristol so they can take part in the Norbot painting challenge.

No Year 6 pupil in Bristol should miss out on the essential safety education taught by Lifeskills.
That's why, for the next three years, we have committed to fund Lifeskills so that they can offer places to disadvantaged pupils that would otherwise miss out on learning these vital skills.

We The Curious STEM Explores Schools Programme for the next 3 years. This means that all Year 3 pupils from primary schools in disadvantaged areas of Bristol will receive fully paid for trips ensuring they don't miss out on this vital learning opportunity.

South Bristol Youth mission is to empower young people to succeed. We are funding the Elevating Excellence programme that is aimed at high priority attaining children from disadvantaged areas, equipping them with skills and attitudes that will help them to reach their full potential.
