John James Bristol Foundation has supported The Grand Appeal, the Bristol Children's Hospital Charity, since its beginning in 1995. This year we are the proud sponsors of the 2025 Schools Programme for Gromit Unleashed 3. Participating schools are also fundraising to support the charity's vital work.
Pupils from 80 schools have taken part in the artistic adventure, unleashing their creativity in celebration of the much loved sculpture trail. Schools have worked hard to design their own Norbot - the smart gnome who has become a firm fan favourite since debuting on screens in Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl. In addition to the main sponsorship, the Foundation gave Norbots to 10 schools in Bristol that would otherwise have missed out on this wonderful opportunity.​
All the school Norbots were exhibited at the School's Exhibition as part of the official Gromit Unleashed 3 exhibition before being kept permanently by each School.

The sponsorship includes a special final exhibition and a Resource Pack full of creative ideas and educational resources with instructions on how the children should design, decorate and care for their Norbot sculpture.
