John James Bristol foundation has supported Lifeskills since 2003. The Foundation was one of the main funders of a major development in 2017 to expand the facilities and create a Centre of Excellence in Safety Education aimed at young people in Bristol and the surrounding areas. â€‹â€‹

Lifeskills is a charity which relies on entrance fees, donation and volunteers in order to keep the safety programmes running.  For the next three years John James Bristol Foundation will be funding fully funded visits for pupils at 36 primary schools in the most disadvantaged areas of the City. The grant is going directly to Lifeskills so that they will be able to provide life-changing educational experiences for 1,600 pupils that would otherwise normally miss out. The funding will enable them to deliver impactful safety education to children who need it most, helping to empower them with the skills they need to stay safe and thrive in everyday situations.

Lifeskills is an immersive, interactive village designed to teach life-saving safety skills through realistic scenarios and exciting experiences. The aim is to give children and young people the confidence needed to make informed, independent decisions, paving the way for a safer and brighter future.
