The Foundation has a proud history of supporting schools and educational programmes that provide enrichment opportunities for young people across the City. John James started making direct grants to schools in 1978 and we still provide grants for Award programmes at 31 secondary schools which can be used in accordance with their ethos and culture.

We are currently working with partners to promote activities which inspire and raise aspirations, help young people to achieve their potential, and encourage personal, social, emotional and physical development. ​​
