St John's Ambulance

St Johns Ambulance is a volunteer powered health and emergency response charity.
John James Bristol Foundation was pleased to provide a grant £12,000 to support Bristol based St Johns Ambulance recruit and train volunteers to provide immediate care and treatment in the local area. Over the past year, clinically trained volunteers have run free community training sessions as well as providing a crucial first aid presence at busy public events including the Pride Festival, Bristol Rovers fixtures and Bristol’s Math Prog Rock Festival, where some 200 patients received treatment from St Johns' ambulance volunteers.
Our Grant has also enabled St Johns ambulance to develop the next generation of lifesavers by supporting over 600 young Badger and Cadet volunteers aged 5 to 17 to meet in groups and develop their first aid, communication and leadership skills.
