Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Association offers support and advise for people suffering from MND. MND is a rapidly progressing disease that attacks the nerves that control movement. In just a few months, sufferers become unable to walk, talk, eat and eventually breathe, and there is no cure. 

People facing this devastating disease need timely expert care and advice. The Bristol MND Care Centre supports around 100 MND sufferers and their families each year.

 

John James Bristol Foundation has awarded grants to the Bristol MND Association for over a decade, so that the Care Centre can continue giving expert advice, run local support groups and provide essential equipment and grants so that people with MND in Bristol can live independently for as long as possible.
