InHope

InHope help people in Bristol overcome the insecurities of homelessness, hunger, addiction, and poor mental health.

John James Bristol Foundation has supported InHope since 2006 providing funding to enable the Charity to continue its vital services in the City. Bristol faces deepening inequalities and has the fourth highest number of rough sleepers in the UK and over 1,600 households in temporary accommodation.

This year (2025) the Foundation awarded £35,000 towards InHope's core services, offering food, emergency shelter, personal support, recovery programmes and pathways into housing.

Last year, InHope provided 22,500 nutritious meals, 15,300 emergency food parcels, gave 111 vulnerable women somewhere safe to stay and provided 1,847 bed nights in the shelters. The Client Pathway Team delivered over 4,000 instances of practical help and 10 people were given 2 years of permanent housing.
