2026/2027 direct grants for Secondary schools
Bristol State Secondary Schools are invited to apply for grants of up to £8,000 to provide opportunities for pupils from disadvantaged backgrounds in the 2026-27 academic year who would otherwise miss out. Opportunities include those that develop cultural capital, help instill confidence through new challenges or raise aspirations. ​​

During the 2025-26 academic year, we have provided grants in respect of: University and workplace visits, mentoring, oracy workshops, Duke of Edinburgh Scheme, residential camps, trips to cultural centres at home and abroad, and music lessons.
