2026/2027 direct grants for Secondary schools
Bristol Secondary Schools have been invited to apply for grants of up to £8,000 to provide opportunities for pupils from disadvantaged backgrounds in the 2026-27 academic year who would otherwise miss out. Opportunities include those that develop cultural capital, help instill confidence through new challenges or raise aspirations. ​​

During the 2025-26 academic year, we have provided grants in respect of University and workplace visits, mentoring, oracy workshops, Duke of Edinburgh Scheme, residential camps, trips to cultural centres at home and abroad, and music lessons.
