The Original Spinners

The Original Spinners are based in Bristol, working in the field of dance and health. They deliver weekly dance and well-being sessions to older patients on wards across three of Bristol's hospitals with a particular focus on engaging patients living with dementia. 

The Foundation has awarded funding for a new purpose built trolley for use at Southmead Hospital. The trolley is used to carry the props and music system and will replace a large trolley that has proven difficult to store and manouver. The new smaller trolley will reduce the amount of storage space needed and enable the dancers to move more easily between beds and bays.
