St John's Ambulance

St John's Ambulance is a volunteer powered health and emergency response charity. Over the past year, clinically trained volunteers have run free community training sessions as well as providing a crucial first aid presence at 1,966 busy public events in the region.
John James Bristol Foundation was pleased to provide a grant of £13,000 to support St John's Ambulance recruit and train volunteers in Bristol. This enables St John's Ambulance to support over a thousand frontline volunteers, helping them to upskill and train new volunteers in advanced first aid skills. It also means that St John's Ambulance can develop the next generation of lifesavers by supporting over 140 young Badger and Cadet volunteers aged 5 to 17 to become first aid confident.
