Jessie May

The Jessie May vision is that all children and young people with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions are supported to have the very best quality of life possible with the chance to live, and to die, in their own homes with their families.

The Foundation has supported the important work of the Jessie May 'Hospice at Home' service for several years, and this year (2026) awarded the charity £30,000 to continue its work with families in Bristol. Each visit lasts approximately 3.5 hours and is tailored to meet the child's complex medical needs while supporting the whole family. The funding will provide 6 families with monthly nurse visits and further ongoing support when they need it.  

These visits are not just about medical care, they provide stability, reassurance and the chance for families to make prescious memories together at home rather than at hospital.
