Tobacco Factory Theatre

Tobacco Factory Theatre (TFT) is an independent theatre and community arts organisation based in South Bristol. They deliver over 300 performances annually to audiences of 50,000+. They also run a 'Get Involved' programme aimed at children and young people, many of whom come from underrepresented or economically disadvantaged backgrounds. 

The Foundation has awarded a grant towards the running costs of the 'Get Involved' programme which will support over 1,500 primary school aged children, young people and families through free and low-cost creative opportunities that build confidence, wellbeing and aspiration. The programme removes financial, social and cultural barriers to arts engagement by providing opportunities where young people can express themselves, connect with others, and grow. The 'Get Involved' programme includes Young Theatre Makers, school enrichment activities, holiday programmes and support with travel.
