Spike Island

Spike Island is a creative hub situated in a historic tea-packing factory in Bristol. It is an internationally renowned exhibition space and serves a community of creatives, including over 70 artist studios, creative businesses, and Spike Print Studio. The University of the West of England’s Fine Art BA (Hons), Art and Writing BA (Hons) and Fine Art MA programmes are also situated at Spike Island.

The creative industry has a significant environmental footprint and Spike Island is committed to becoming a Zero Carbon organisation through it's Spike Green Futures initiative. The Foundation made a significant donation towards a major solar panel installation. Not only does this help to reduce Spike Island's environmental impact, but it also ensures that this valuable cultural asset remains viable for its community of creatives and the people of Bristol.
