Sea Mills AmDram

Babes in the wood 5_edited.jpg

Sea Mills AmDram is a local non-profit amateur dramatic group based in Lawrence Weston, one of Bristol's most disadvantaged areas. The group is run by volunteers who put on plays and shows by the local community, for the local community. Members learn how to sing, dance and perform, and even have the opportunity to direct a show or make scenery. They learn new skills and gain confidence by being part of the group.

The Foundation gave Sea Mills AmDram a grant towards the Christmas Pantomime (2024) which also enabled them to give tickets free of charge to people that need a little light relief and entertainment. Groups that benefited included after school clubs, food bank users and the elderly community from Lawrence Weston.
