Thank Yous

The Christmas production of Coram Boy was thoroughly enjoyed by our elderly Bristol residents as you will see from the thank you letters we have received.

"What a wonderful performance. The staging, the sound effects, the orchestra, choir and the performers."

Thank you for sending me a copy of the DVD covering Mr James' life and business experiences. My wife and myself certainly enjoyed viewing the DVD, particularly being Bristolians. One of the items in the DVD that I found interesting was the Windmill Hill City Farm Venture. Having enjoyed gardening since I was a teenager, working my father's allotment in wartime "Dig for Victory" days, I was rather amused by Mr James' yearly rent demand of one cabbage for financially supporting the Farm's continuing work.
Letter from Mr Jones re: DVD
The Foundation has donated £36,850 this year to elderly groups in Bristol to enjoy some little extras at their Christmas parties. We have received many letters of gratitude:

"I should like to thank the Foundation for the most generous gift that you have sent us. It will help so much with our Christmas lunch"
"This gesture is much appreciated, it is good to all meet together for a party"
"Thankyou so much for your kind donation towards our Christmas lunch, we could not do it without your help"
"Without this generous help we would not be able to have such an enjoyable time and the Committee and Club members wish to express their gratitude to you"
