Introduction
The Foundation’s financial year runs from 1 October until 30 September and during the year to 30 September 2011 grants were made totalling £1,153,902. This total was largely split between the Foundation’s main areas of interest, Education, Health and the Elderly.
The breakdown for the year to 30 September 2011 was:
Education: £458,828
This included £215,000 towards Bursary Funds held in Bristol independent schools and £88,000 for Prizes and Awards grants spread over both state and independent Bristol secondary schools.
