Introduction

The Foundation’s financial year runs from 1 October until 30 September and during the year to 30 September 2009 a total of £976,609 was donated.  This total was largely split between the Foundation’s main areas of interest, namely Education, Health and the Elderly.
 
The breakdown for the year to 30 September 2009 was:

This included £240,000 towards Bursary Funds held in Bristol independent schools and £83,500 for Prizes and Awards grants spread over both state and independent Bristol secondary schools.
